ISO 13485:2016 is an internationally recognized quality standard specific to the medical device industry that ensures the quality of medical device design, development and production. Companies that achieve ISO 13485 certification must consistently meet customer needs, medical device regulations, and strict requirements of the International Organization of Standardization (ISO).
